A massive space was completed on Channel 9’s The Block last week! These glorious spaces showcased the contestant’s ability to think big with high ceilings and large entertaining layouts. This week we saw Rachel & Ryan finally secure a win, with an almost perfect score thanks to their impressive lounge area and finer details.

Continuing to showcase their contemporary flare, Rachel & Ryan brought out all the stops with gorgeous styling and continued motifs throughout the two spaces. The couple played with textures, from their timber ceiling to the boucle couch, rug and dining chairs.

Creating harmony throughout their home, Rachel & Ryan’s dining area complimented their kitchen with a table that matched their timber shelving. Keeping this continuity, the plush boucle chairs tie beautifully with the large sofa in the living space. The couple utilises a track-style pendant light above their table and spotlights to highlight the beautiful native artworks used.

The living room came complete with a warm & comfortable seating plan thanks to their gorgeous boucle lounge, accompanied by two complimenting swivel armchairs. These thoughtful touches create an inviting space that draws you close to their stunning fireplace. Complete with ample lighting & simple sheer curtains, this space is grand and cozy all at the same time. To not take away from this space, the couple opted for a warmer take on classic white wall paint to keep things cohesive.
